Important information about the proper use of our AI clinical decision support system.

DOCTOR AI®, ClinicalAssist™, DDxRx®, Fall-Alert™, and all related AI/robotic systems ("the System") are provided solely as clinical-decision support, safety-monitoring, and educational tools.

They do not independently diagnose, treat, prescribe, or manage medical conditions.

1. Not a Substitute for Professional Medical Judgment

The System — including cognitive diagnostic suggestions, severity-of-illness scores, AI-generated encounter notes, treatment suggestions, triage recommendations, movement-detection alerts, and robotic patient-interaction features — is not intended to replace the clinical judgment of a licensed physician or qualified healthcare professional.

Users must independently verify all information with professional sources and perform their own examinations, assessments, and clinical decision-making.

2. No Autonomous Medical Decision-Making

ClinicalAssist robotics, Fall-Alert monitoring, remote-view systems, and diagnostic-support algorithms:

  • Do not make autonomous medical decisions
  • Do not replace in-person evaluation
  • Do not provide final diagnoses
  • Must not be used as the sole basis for treatment or transfer decisions
  • Are limited to support functions only

All patient care must be delivered by licensed clinicians.

3. AI and Robotics Limitations

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not reflect the entirety of the patient's presentation.

Robotic systems may misinterpret visual or audio signals, lose network connectivity, or generate false-positive or false-negative alerts.

Clinicians must not rely solely on the System for:

  • Diagnoses
  • Medication decisions
  • Emergency responses
  • Safe patient-handling judgments
  • Risk classifications
  • Life-support decisions

4. Not Intended for Primary Diagnosis or Emergency Use

The System is not cleared or approved as a diagnostic device and must not be used:

  • As a standalone diagnostic tool
  • For emergency medical decision-making
  • For triage level determination without clinician oversight
  • As a substitute for physical examination

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate in-person care.

5. Educational Purposes Only

All content — including disease lists, symptom relationships, ranking algorithms, severity scores, treatment suggestions, and AI-generated summaries — is provided for educational use.

The user understands that:

  • Diseases or conditions they consider relevant may not appear
  • AI-generated recommendations may omit serious diagnoses
  • Clinical content does not represent complete or comprehensive medical information

6. Verification Requirements

You must verify:

  • Diagnostic considerations
  • Treatment recommendations
  • Severity assessments
  • Medication interactions
  • Patient-safety alerts
  • Encounter documentation

With independent, authoritative sources and clinical evaluation.

7. No Physician–Patient Relationship

Use of the System does not create a physician–patient relationship.

The System does not provide individualized medical advice or care.

8. Data Interpretation and Sensor Limitations

Computer-vision, audio, sensor fusion, and robotic movement analysis may be inaccurate or interrupted due to:

  • Poor lighting
  • Occlusions
  • Background noise
  • Hardware malfunction
  • Network latency
  • Software bugs

Clinicians must maintain situational awareness and not rely solely on automated alerts.

9. System Updates and Changes

The System undergoes continuous improvement. Algorithms, datasets, and functionality may change without notice.

Users are responsible for staying informed about system changes and new limitations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Doctor AI, LLC is not liable for clinical outcomes
  • The System is provided "as is" without warranties
  • Users assume all responsibility for clinical decisions
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability

11. Regulatory Status

The System is not FDA-cleared as a medical device.

It is provided as clinical decision support under the 21st Century Cures Act exemptions for clinical decision support software.

12. Acknowledgment

By using the System, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood this Medical Disclaimer
  • You will not rely solely on the System for clinical decisions
  • You accept full responsibility for patient care
  • You will maintain professional standards and oversight
